SuMS Speaks is Surrey Maths School's annual keynote event, bringing exceptional voices from the world of STEM to our community.  

At Surrey Maths School, we’re firm believers that being a great STEM learner isn’t just about solving equations or understanding theories; curiosity and innovation are key. SuMS Speaks aims to connect tomorrow's scientists, engineers and mathematicians with people whose journeys have been shaped by a passion for discovery and who have continued to make impactful contributions in their fields.  

More than a lecture, SuMS Speaks is a conversation. Our speakers share not only their achievements, but also the challenges, decisions and moments of curiosity that have defined their journeys. Through open discussion and audience questions, students gain insight into the realities of working at the forefront of STEM and the opportunities that lie beyond the classroom.
