Visitor Information

Safeguarding our school

Surrey Maths School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all staff, volunteers, visitors and outside agencies to share this commitment.

If you are visiting the school, you will be required to show ID (passport or driving licence) to Reception staff if you are not known to them, as part of our safeguarding policy. Please have this ready when you arrive.

We will also need details of your DBS clearance if appropriate. This will be either a Letter of Assurance from your employer or your paper DBS, if you are acting independently and are on the Update Service.

You will be asked to sign in electronically and wear the issued Visitor Pass and lanyard at all times when on the school premises.

Our School Safeguarding Team

  • Mrs Christine Robinson - Designated Safeguarding Lead

  • Mrs Sarah Bourne - Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead

  • Ms Nora Kettleborough - Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
