We are extremely proud of our first cohort’s set of A Level results!

Across all subjects (Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry and Economics), our students achieved an incredible 37% A*, 72% A*-A and 90% A*-B.

11 students achieved A* across all their subjects, with 8 of them achieving A*A*A*A* (and an additional 7 students with at least A*A*A*).

Our average point score (APS) is 49.51 – meaning an average grade of A. In Maths, Physics and Computer Science, our students achieved half a grade higher per entry than predicted by national data.

Some SuMS students also completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) in their second year. The EPQ is an independent research project which is equivalent to half an A-level in scope and in UCAS weighting. 13 students completed an EPQ, with 8 A*s (62%), 3 As (23%), and 2 Bs (15%) awarded.

We have students going off to a huge variety of university destinations - from York to Southampton, Oxford to Bath, studying everything from Maths to MORSE, Civil Engineering to Quantum Computing. We also have a wonderful group of students going on to complete degree apprenticeships with Dyson.

Well done class of 2026! We are delighted for you.
